St. Louis Creek Bed and Playground

Our St. Louis client started getting massive amounts of water in their creek bed after a large commercial project had been installed up stream. The raging river that would roll through during storms quickly created extensive erosion problems and property damage. Missouri Boulder shored up the creek banks with boulder walls. A concrete bridge over the creek was added giving the client access to a portion of their yard that had never been usable before.

Later, Missouri Boulder came back to help resolve flooding in another area of their yard. Being the lowest elevation in the subdivision our client gets water from multiple directions. Missouri Boulder regraded the yard, cleared trees, and redirected water with new swales. Water was also directed into a newly added sewer drain and piped into the creek. The client also wanted a playground installed. Missouri Boulder installed new boulder walls to level out and area for the playground. Tons of gravel was brought in and compacted for the new playground and shed. Additional yard drains were added around the new playground to help keep it dry. Our client now has additional space for the kids to run and play.
